St. John Church was one of the first churches in the Saginaw, Michigan and was started as a German speaking church. The records of the first years, 1856 - 1900 were all written in German and very poor handwriting. The records from 1856 - 1862 were transcribed by Anita Boldt of Frankenmuth and typed by me, Bev Trew Petersen, and put here for you! Please read the beginning of "the book" for an explanation of how to use these files.
